BROWARD MASTER BROKERS FORUM DINNER AND PANEL DISCUSSION

Top South Florida Real Estate Agents Discuss Internet Marketing and New Technology

OAKLAND PARK, FL -The Broward Master Brokers Forum (MBF), an organization comprised of South Florida’s top residential real estate agents, recently presented a cutting-edge panel discussion entitled “FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION: Internet Marketing to Baby Boomers, Generation X-ers, and Everyone In Between”.

This event was hosted and sponsored by Hugh’s Culinary, a magnificent, state-of-the-art catering facility in Oakland Park. Summer Greene, regional manager of Prudential Florida 1st Realty and secretary of the Florida Association of Realtors, moderated the discussion, which featured panelists Richard Barkett, chief executive officer of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale; Christine Hansen, broker and owner of Century 21 Hansen Realty; and Anthony Romeo, founder/owner, KWKLY.com, which offers mobile technology to solutions to Realtors and other industries. Guests learned about the tools and technology available to them from their local Realtor associations, remarkable new features of the updated Realtor.com web site, and the extraordinary rise in mobile technology, particularly the use of “texting” to market homes.

“When used correctly, Internet technology can help real estate professionals do their jobs much faster, easier, and more efficiently. The challenges we face are figuring out how to manage this new technology as it becomes available, and which tools to use at the right time.” said Carolyn Block Ellert, chair of the Broward MBF. “This fascinating discussion introduced the seasoned veterans in our organization to some powerful tools already at their disposal, as well as some new advancements which are right around the corner. We thank all of our panelists and the team at Hugh’s Culinary for making it a spectacular event.”

The Broward Chapter of the Master Brokers Forum is generously supported by Wachovia.
